TAURON Polska Energia S.A. jest spółką holdingową w grupie kapitałowej, która zajmuje się wytwarzaniem, dystrybucją i sprzedażą energii i ciepła. President of the Management Board at TAURON
Graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. He completed Postgraduate Managerial Studies in Enterprise Management at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, International Managerial and Marketing Studies at the Technical University in Brno, International Managerial and Financial Studies at the University of Economics in Katowice, and a Master of Business Administration at The Brennan School of Business of Dominican University, River Forest, Illinois, USA.
He has been associated with the energy sector for over 27 years. He has extensive experience in creating effective sales and marketing strategies and managing change. He is an expert in designing and implementing new products and services, marketing campaigns, contact channels, and IT tools and systems. He has led and implemented numerous projects related to improving organizational and business process efficiency.
Since March 2024, he has been the President of the Management Board of Tauron Polska Energia S.A. From 2020 to 2024, he was Vice President of the Management Board of Polenergia Dystrybucja and Vice President of the Management Board of Polenergia Sprzedaż. From 2012 to 2019, he was associated with the TAURON Group, as Vice President of the Management Board at TAURON Sprzedaż and TAURON Sprzedaż GZE, and Executive Director for Customer Affairs at TAURON Polska Energia S.A.
From 1997 to 2012, he worked in companies belonging to the Vattenfall Group, including as Development Department Manager, Planning and Personnel Strategy Department Manager, Project Manager, Customer Service Director, Sales and Marketing Director, and Vice President of the Management Board.
He is a member of several supervisory boards, Vice President of the Polish Committee of Electric Energy, and President of IGEOS.
Maciej Mróz
Vice President of TAURON Dystrybucja for the Distribution System Operator (DSO)
Doctor of Technical Sciences, graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. He also completed an MBA program at the Cracow University of Economics. He pursued his doctoral studies at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Electronics.
He has 20 years of experience in the energy sector. He has been responsible for asset management, distribution investments, and the development and implementation of renewable energy (RES) investments. He has extensive managerial experience in the areas of network operator activities, network investment and development, innovation and new technologies, as well as cooperation and relations with local government units. He has also managed the following areas: in-house development of RES projects, finance and controlling, corporate governance, and procurement.
Since 2023, he has served as Vice President of the Management Board for the Operator at TAURON Dystrybucja; previously he was Vice President of TAURON Zielona Energia. At TAURON Dystrybucja, he held the positions of Director of the Investment and Network Development Department and Asset Director in Kraków and Tarnów. He began his career in 2004 at ENION S.A. as an engineer. Since June 2024, he has been President of the Management Board of the Polish Society for Electricity Transmission and Distribution.
Marcin Staniszewski
Marcin Staniszewski President of the Board TAURON Ciepło
Graduate of Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and EMBA studies of the Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He has long years of professional experience in the power and heat industry in managerial positions. Since 2012 he has held the following functions at TAURON Ciepło: Head of the Generation Planning and Supervision Department, Director of Operations and Director of the Production Department of TAURON Ciepło. Since June 2021, as Member of the Management Board of TAMEH Polska sp. z o.o. and TAMEH Czech s.r.o., he was responsible for managing the production assets of four CHP plants in Poland and the Czech Republic. Since March 1, 2022, he has been Chairman of the Board of TAURON Ciepło, and since March 7, 2024, he has also been a Board Member of TAMEH Holding.
