WHY CLIMATE CONGRESS?
The Polish Climate Congress is dedicated primarily to practitioners: local governments and companies implementing public investments. It is also a meeting of experts in the field of sustainable development and innovative technologies, representatives of central administration bodies and international agencies, representatives of cities from Poland and abroad, delegates of business and its environment and non-governmental organizations, experts, scientists and journalists.
During the conference, there will be several discussion panels in five thematic lines: local government, business, infrastructure, financing, science, and we will present examples of the activities of institutions, business entities and local governments that have a key role to play in implementing the European policy of mitigating the effects of climate change and the green deal.
This is the only politically independent climate congress in Poland, attended only by practitioners. The Congress is not financed by any government institution and does not represent the political interests of any group.
The aim of organizing the Polish Climate Congress is to create a platform for the exchange of experiences integrating public interest with business, in the substantive space indicated by the scientific community. The exchange of opinions is aimed at popularizing innovative solutions and optimizing the quality of the implemented sustainable development policy of cities, municipalities and larger territorial units in solving important environmental problems that affect the climate. An important aspect is also the popularization of modern technological and economic solutions and the dissemination of best practices in the implementation of ecological climate-related projects.
During the congress, we will present examples of the activities of institutions, business entities and local governments that have a key role to play in implementing the European policy of mitigating the effects of climate change.
The event is addressed to: the public sector, local government units, representatives of municipal enterprises, state-owned companies, representatives of companies offering technological, engineering and product solutions, components, experts, research workers and innovators, investors, small, medium and large enterprises.

GALA OF THE LEADERS OF ENERGY TRANSITION
The Gala is an accompanying event of the Polish Climate Congress. In 2024, it will take place at the Barcelo Powiśle Hotel on March 20 from 9:00 p.m.
The competition was created to promote innovative and scalable solutions, products, technologies and services related to climate and environmental protection, as well as innovative projects that may have an impact on accelerating Poland's green transformation. The competition is a continuation of the Polish Climate Congressunder the patronage of the European Commission and the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
Several dozen projects entered the 2022 competition, which were assessed by a jury composed of the National Center for Research and Development, the National Energy Conservation Agency, the Polish Wind Energy Association, the competition partners in 2022 were Bank BOŚ, BGK, Budimex, EDPR, DLA Piper and Multibud .
We are glad that so many projects from various categories are being implemented in Poland. Projects were assessed primarily in terms of scalability and innovation, regardless of category. We are starting the first giveaway for the most innovative and scalable projects.
The awards were presented by members of the Competition Chapter and representatives of the Honorary Patrons, Managing Director Karolina Loth-Babut from the National Energy Conservation Agency, who replaced President Mariola Zmudzińska and Director Wojciech Racięcki from the National Center for Research and Development.
