Anna Chmielewska
Associate Director, Senior Banker EBRD
Anna Chmielewska has 17 years of experience in finance and banking, including extensive experience in structured finance.
Currently, on behalf of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), she is responsible for the energy, utilities, and natural resources sectors. Her responsibilities include structuring and executing EBRD financing, including project financing structures, public-private partnerships, and privatizations.
Anna joined EBRD in 2006 and since then has led numerous financial projects in various sectors (including IT, transportation, and real estate) with an increasingly growing specialization in energy and infrastructure. These transactions included a wide range of complex debt, equity, and syndicated agreements. Before joining EBRD, Anna worked as the Head of Derivatives Risk at Barclays Capital in London. Earlier, she gained experience at AIB in Dublin, HVB in Munich, and the National Bank of Poland.
She holds a PhD in Economics from the Warsaw School of Economics, a Master’s in Finance from the Warsaw School of Economics, and a CEMS Masters in International Management.
