Bartosz Kępa

Member of the Program Council of the Polish Climate Congress.
A graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice. He also completed postgraduate studies in management at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, managerial studies in finance conducted by SGH and EY, and a course for investment advisors. He also holds an MBA diploma obtained after completing a program at the University of Quebec in Montreal and SGH.
He is an internal quality auditor certified by the Institute of Organization and Management in Industry ORGMASZ (currently Łukasiewicz – ITECH Institute of Innovation and Technology).
From 1999 to 2004, he was the head of the strategic controlling division at GZE, a company belonging to the Vattenfall group. From 2000 to 2002, he headed the Board Office of the Subcommittee for Electricity Supply of the Polish Electricity Committee. From 2004 to 2006, he worked as a corporate controller at Vattenfall. He then served as the CFO of its Gliwice branch, CFO in Warsaw, and head of finance and controlling of the B2B Business Unit in Berlin. From 2011 to 2015, he led the management board of Eltrako.
In 2015, he became the Vice-President for Restructuring and Development at Katowicki Holding Węglowy. From 2016 to 2022, he was the CFO and COO of Iteo, a software development company, and then, until 2024, the CFO of Esri Polska.
Since April 2024, he has been the CFO and Vice-President of the Management Board of Polska Grupa Górnicza. He assumed the role of President of the Company on November 8, 2024.
