From 2010 to 2017, he was associated with the ORLEN Group. As the CEO of ORLEN Lietuva, he reformed and made the refinery in Mažeikiai profitable. He negotiated agreements and resolved long-standing disputes related to logistics. He significantly increased ORLEN Lietuva’s sales in export markets. He has expertise in the specifics of the ORLEN Group and the processes occurring within it.
Since the late 1990s, he has held senior management positions in large public and private companies.

He holds a degree from the Cracow University of Economics in International Economic Relations and completed postgraduate studies at the Łódź University of Technology. He has completed internships at the stock exchanges in Frankfurt and Düsseldorf. He has also attended finance, capital markets, and pension system courses, organized by institutions such as the Swiss Bankers Association and the Austrian National Bank. He holds a securities broker license.

Grzegorz Jóźwiak
Director, Hydrogen Technologies and Synthetic Fuels Department, ORLEN S.A.
Grzegorz has 20 years’ experience in segment of refinery, petrochemical and fertilizers production. He has deep and broad experience in low carbon solutions from an operational and optimization point of view. Years of successful experience in teams management with deliverables results. Responsible for the implementation of the hydrogen strategy at ORLEN Group. He has created totally new hydrogen business line with state of the art hydrogen Dream Team. He has initiated and launched the first Hydrogen Academy for students in Poland. He coordinated the processes of receiving non-repayable funding from European programs such as Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI). He is a NATO Civil Expert in Energy Planning Group, Member of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership Governing Board, Member of the Coordination Board of the Sectoral Agreement for the Development of the Hydrogen Economy in Poland, Member of the Program Council of the Hydrogen Technologies Center at the Gdańsk University of Technology. He has graduated of the Warsaw University of Technology and has completed the Executive MBA postgraduate program with distinction.

Marek Garniewski

Manager associated with the capital market for more than a dozen years, he gained experience in banks and investment funds. In ORLEN Capital Group involved in the area of Strategy and Innovation and Investor Relations. Since 2021, he has been responsible for the development and management of one of the largest Corporate Venture Capital funds in CEE - ORLEN VC, investing in such areas as energy, circular economy, new mobility, advanced materials, retail of the future, industry digitalization or alternative fuels.
