Maciej Tarnawski – Managing Director at Santander Bank Polska, responsible for project finance, syndicated loans, acquisition and LBO financing, bond and eurobond issuance, as well as debt advisory and the ESG area. In recent years, financing for green energy and ESG-related goals have been among the main focus areas for Santander in Poland and Maciej's team. During this time, Maciej's team financed wind and photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of over 2.6 GW and organized several credit financings linked to ESG goals, as well as green and ESG bond issuances.

Before taking this role at Santander, Maciej gained professional experience in Poland and abroad in structured finance and DCM teams at Bank Handlowy, ABN AMRO, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Bank BPH, and Bank Pekao. Prior to joining Santander Bank Polska in 2014, he led the DCM team at Bank Pekao.
