Piotr Matczuk

An economist and manager with 17 years of professional experience, including 10 years in international development institutions. From 2017 to 2024, he served as a representative of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) - a member of the World Bank Group in Poland, where he was responsible for implementing the IFC strategy, investment and advisory projects, business development, and relationships with public and private partners. Prior to joining IFC, he supervised the implementation of strategic projects at PKP Intercity. From 2011 to 2014, he was an advisor to the supervisory board of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). From 2008 to 2011, he worked as a financial markets analyst at the National Bank of Poland and as a research employee at the Warsaw School of Economics. He is a graduate of economics studies at the Warsaw School of Economics and the sustainable corporations program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Mikołaj Raczyński

Mikołaj Raczyński, Polish Development Fund SA, Vice President of the
Management Board of PFR SA for Investments
Expert in financial markets, asset management, manager, economist.
Manager, capital markets expert and economist with several years of experience in
Polish and foreign financial institutions. He has extensive competences in the field of
public and private markets, directly managing or supervising investment decisions of
multi-person investment teams. He also has broad and valued knowledge in the field
of macroeconomics and economic processes.
In his career, he was associated with, among others, Noble Funds TFI, where he
was a member of the board responsible for making investment decisions. He led or
was a member of investment committees of funds with mandates on public markets
and investments such as private debt, distressed debt, private equity and
mezzanine. He also worked for the pan-European investment group WOOD &
Company, where he advised and was responsible for the implementation of the
expansion in Poland of one of the group's business branches.
In his professional career he has been recognized with numerous industry awards,
including the Golden Portfolio twice for investment results and the title of Best
Macroeconomic Analyst twice.
He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics, majoring in Finance and
Accounting, and from the Warsaw University of Technology, majoring in
Management. He holds the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), an Investment
Advisor license, and an ESG Investing certificate from the CFA Institute.
