Witold Literacki

Mr. Witold Literacki is a graduate of the University of Silesia, Faculty of Social Sciences, which he completed in 1994 and an MBA at the Lublin Business School in cooperation with the University of Central Lancashire in Great Britain in 2006. An expert in the field of finance and taxes. For many years professionally associated with the fuel and energy industry. He gained managerial experience in both foreign and Polish companies.
In 2022-2023 he was the Financial Director at PERN SA, where he was responsible for the development of the financial strategy, including: revaluation of the company's assets for insurance purposes, conclusion of credit agreements. He supervised the Company's Financial Division.
Previously, in the years 2020-2022, he was employed as the Financial Director at Warszawskie Zakłady Mechaniczne PZL- WZM w Warszawie SA. He was responsible, among others, for the development and implementation of the financial strategy and the preparation and supervision of the Company's budget. At the same time, from 2021 (to date) he has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Komunalnej Sp. z o. o. in Radomsko.
From 2008 to 2020, he worked as Director of the Tax Office at PKN ORLEN SA, supervising, among others: IT System Administrators Department, Tax Reporting Department, Tax Advisory Department, Excise Tax Advisory Department, Transfer Pricing Team. He was responsible, among others, for calculating and settling tax payments (values available as part of the ORLEN Capital Group stock exchange reports, e.g. in 2019 - PLN 39 billion). As part of the segment management policy, he supervised and coordinated tax matters in all Group companies in Poland and abroad (Germany, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Canada, Sweden and Malta). Additionally, in the years 2011-2020 he was a member of the Management Board of Special Purpose Vehicles in Sweden, dealing with cash pooling for foreign entities (Orlen Finance), and the issue of Eurobonds in the amount of EUR 1.250 million (Orlen Capital Company).
In 2007-2008 he was the Chief Tax Manager at RWE Stoen SA. He cooperated with tax authorities and the external auditor, as well as with the Tax Director from the superior unit in Germany. He carried out the unbandling process in accordance with the EU Regulation.
From 1999 to 2007, he was employed as a Tax Controller at Carrefour Polska Sp. z o. o., supervising, among others, tax issues in the processes of acquisition of retail chains such as Stock, Globi, Hypernova. He provided ongoing tax consulting and tax planning for the Company.
In the years 1997-1999 he worked as a Junior Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen Sp. z o. o. He was responsible for tax advice for Polish and foreign clients.
From 1991 to 1997 he worked as a Senior Inspector in the Audit Department of the Tax Office in Zabrze. His duties included conducting tax audits in business entities, preparing tax analyses and issuing assessment decisions.
